Gate TI offers a unique technical resource for assisting automation and assembly machine builders who have a need for synchronized mechanical motion. We work with the machine builder to determine the optimal machine design and station layout based on your requirements, we provide full engineering support and develop a complete timing chart and acceptance model or drawing. A major benefit of using a synchronized chassis subsystem is that once everything is timed together (synchronized)  it is fixed and does not need to be adjusted.  Also if a variable frequency drive is utilized, then only one control is needed for several different stations.

All of our chassis systems are designed for each individual drive to be coupled to a single piece line shaft for simple and depending performance in the field.


A linear chassis subsystem uses a TL precision link conveyor at its heart, this provides for very accurate positioning of your workpiece as it stops at each station. Multiple pick and place / part handlers can be integrated to provide up to 180° of rotary oscillation and 5.9” of vertical stroke, or 7.4” linear transfer and 5.9” of vertical stroke for your pick and place requirements. Pick and place units can even be placed through the center of the conveyor allowing for a true from the inside out approach.

Pressing operations or vertical movements can also be provided, with strokes up to approximately 12” and press forces in excess of 2000lbs all timed and synchronized to a common central line shaft.

Typical chassis cycle rates are from 20 cycles per minute up to 90 cycles per minute, however by integrating more than one part / tooling per station  part through put rates of up to 360 per minute can be achieved
