The new MCR pick-and-place series is designed to meet the requirements for high-speed handling and positioning in industrial automation applications.
The MCR manipulator is programmable, and its driven output shaft performs linear strokes and rotary movements to handle a wide variety of parts and/or components. Work cycles can be adapted according to the specific component to be handled.
The MCR manipulator is driven by two independent servo motors that generate the linear and rotary motions. Programming of the two servo motors ensures a high degree of flexibility in defining the work cycle, optimizing movements while minimizing vibrations.
The achievable strokes with the MCR include 100 or 200 mm vertical stroke and rotations of up to 360°. Featuring an aluminum body with FDA-approved nickel surface treatment (ISO 7) and a rod with DLC surface treatment, the unit is also suitable for cleanroom applications and for use across a wide range of industries.
The robust structure allows not only pick-and-place operations, but also insertion and press-fitting tasks with forces of up to 200 N.
It can handle significant loads, up to 20 kg. The unit is equipped with a CR planetary gearbox for precise control of the rotary phase.
