Cycloidal reducers are a class of gearboxes characterized by their small size, high number of achievable reduction ratios, and high load capacity. Starting from a minimum ratio of 1:6 up to a ratio of 1:72, they are available in a single stage and their axial compactness is a distinctive feature.
Thanks to these characteristics, cycloidal gearboxes are widely used in the fields of robotics, machine tools, assembly/packaging machines, and positioning applications. The possible configurations are:
HH (hole-hole): hollow input and output for quick and slow shaft insertion;
HS (hole-shaft): hollow motor input and shaft output;
HF (hole-flange): hollow motor input and flange output that can be used as a positioner.
The accuracy is 3 arcmin.
These characteristics are complemented by high impact resistance, excellent precision, and a quiet operation.
